Shederis Lakin was born in Germany, grew up in North Carolina, and has family roots in South Carolina. Her journey to service began almost two decades ago when she followed in her Father’s footsteps by joining the United States Army.
Shederis currently serves in the Army Reserves and she continues to adhere to the army values (leadership, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage) in the legal profession. She spent over a decade on active duty (including an overseas tour) leading soldiers and serving in several leadership positions. Shederis is passionate about advocating for others and upon passing the bar she entered into private practice; which she attributes to both her late grandfathers who were both business owners in South Carolina.
Shederis is a woman of high character, a leader in protecting victim’s legal rights, and a trusted legal advisor that believes in fighting for clients to ensure they receive fair compensation.
